Diurnal variation of serum androgen and estradiol-17β in the adult male green monkey (Cercopithecus sp)

Abstract

Adult male African green monkeys (vervets) had diurnal fluctuation in serum androgen and estradiol-17β concentrations. Peak values for total androgen were obtained between 2100 and 0600 h while peak values for estradiol were found between 2400 and 0600 h.
