Abstract

In this article, the generalized model for photo-thermoelastic waves under a hyperbolic two-temperature model without energy dissipation is used to calculate the conductive and thermodynamic temperatures, carrier density, displacement and stress in a semi-infinite semi-conducting medium. Thermo-elastic properties are considered in presence of the coupling of thermoelastic and plasma waves. The analytic solutions for all physical variables are obtained by applying Laplace transform and eigenvalues approach. The results are illustrated graphically to show the difference between the hyperbolic two-temperature model and the classical two-temperature model upon without energy dissipation. We believe that the present study will help to understand the basic features of the new model for heat conduction.
