Abstract

Comments on the study by V. Hendrick et al (see record 2001-18315-013), which states that the findings of their study provide no reason to discourage nursing among women taking paroxetine, fluvoxamine, or sertraline at standard therapeutic doses. The present author disagrees with the inclusion of all 50 nursing mother-infant pairs as study subjects for 2 main reasons. A reply by V. Hendrick follows.
