Flora das cangas da Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brasil: Xyridaceae

Abstract

This study encompasses the species of Xyridaceae recorded in the cangas of Serra dos Carajás, Pará state, bringing detailed descriptions, illustrations, morphological comments and distribution of the species in the study area. Two species of Xyris are recorded: X. brachysepala, endemic to Serra dos Carajás, and X. macrocephala, widely distributed in the Neotropics.
