New 1-substituted 3,5-diaryl-2-pyrazolines 13-27 have been synthesized by the reaction of hydroxychalcones 1-12 and hydrazines in hot acetic acid solution. Structures of all new compounds have been elucidated by microanalyses, 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopy. ©ARKAT.
