Abstract

The rabbit model is sufficient for testing the described material in a sufficient blood vessel. The pig is a well established model for all surgical implications. Even in difficult situations as described a change in surgical approach, in this case by using a method common in heart surgery, leads to very desirable results. The condition of no anticoagulation could be achieved. © 2008 - IOS Press and the authors. All rights reserved.
