Abstract

The promotion of the mental health of the military police officer is important to the Military Police of Piauí and to the entire community, since the healthy military police officer has much more to contribute to society and the State. In this sense, the objective of this study is to develop the program “Mental health policy aimed at psychological monitoring of military police involved in major incidents”, analyzing the opportunities and risks to the implementation of the new value proposition created. To achieve its purpose, an exploratory and qualitative study was carried out through documentary research. Data were collected from institutional documents provided by the Centro de Assistência Integral à Saúde (CAIS), the Military Police of Piauí (PMPI), the PMPI website, as well as online databases recognized by the scientific community. The analysis was carried out using management tools, based on the blue ocean strategy. The findings highlighted the advances and challenges faced by CAIS, allowing a better understanding of its mental health policies, as well as contributing to the development of an innovative value proposition in mental health policies for police officers, thus configuring a trend in mental health in the health policies of CAIS.
