Abstract
This paper aims to present a clinical practice experience, through the care of a patient treated for breast cancer who had high anxiety and dying fear. Interventions based on cognitive behavioral therapy were performed, seeking to improve the quality of life patient, in order to minimize your emotional distress due to the disease and treatment, and difficulties of family order. From the service, it can say that there has been gradual improvement in symptomatology.
