Abstract
Microprobe, XRD and NAA chemical data are given for 18 rock and mineral samples from the Guatemala trench area. Some of the tholeiites have been altered to the greenschist facies (300o-475oC) by hydrothermal-sea-water interactions.-K.A.R.
