Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the influence of knowledge management in business performance. First,there has been a review of the literature, which enabled most common dimensions of knowledge management and results for subsequent measurement. Were taken as the dimensionsof knowledge management, creation, storage and transfer and the application and use of knowledge. Information acquisition, dissemination and interpretation of this shared, were used as mesures for the creation of knowledge. Have also been used as measures of implementa-tion and use of knowledge, empowerment, teamwork and commitment to knowledge. As dimensions of the results have been used operating results, financial and innovation. The methodology used is based on case study, through primary and secondary data. The results show that knowledge management influences the operating results both as financial and innovation. Thus, the surveyed companies have a higher degree of knowledge management through teamwork, increased empowerment, flexibility in decision-making and an overview of the company, including practices,get more results bothoperational and financial and innovation.
