A strategic move

Abstract

Equipment selection for communications applications within terminals is discussed. Terminal communications need a range from person-to-person radio links to fully-automated systems. The needs of particular terminals must be taken into account in developing a communications strategy. Ways of doing this are considered. Comments from Mobile Data International, Telemecanique, Logica, and Ascom Radiocom AG are included. (D.W.T.)
