Abstract

This study returns to understand the dynamics of operation of the solidarity economy and the empowerment process generated by it, through the analysis of the Association of Agroextractive Women of Alto Cajari, located in the extreme south of Amapá, extreme north of Brazil, which works with the processing of Brazil nuts. As a method, we used cost-effectiveness analysis and qualitative research, in order to measure the main advances and challenges that are imposed on the segment. This study identified the need for restructuring in the management policy development formats by government agencies, which should work in a harmonious and articulated way, but instead, they act in isolation and without effective communication between themselves, harming quality and the quantity of services offered
