Technologies development for designing and production of complex technical objects sets before management and engineering personnel of enterprises the task of timely response to modern innovations in digital support of the entire product life cycle. Additional professional education is a tool designed to ensure the solution of such a problem. To train specialists with the necessary digital competencies, Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) has developed and is successfully implementing additional digital professional programs (advanced training and professional retraining). For 2017-2020 the number of digital professional development programs at Moscow Aviation Institute increased by 109 (from 57 to 166), and the number of professional retraining programs by 16 (from 1 to 17).
