Abstract

Myopic choroidal neovascularization is a sight threatening complication of pathologic myopia. Early detection, accurate diagnosis with multimodal imaging, early initiation of treatment and careful post-treatment monitoring are key to achieving good treatment outcomes. Here, we review the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, imaging, and treatment of myopic choroidal neovascularization.
