Abstract
Background: Education is an effort that is planned to influence other people from individuals, groups, families and communities to implement healthy living behaviors. Objective: This study aims to determine the role of nurse education with the level of knowledge on the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women in the emergency room at RSIA Brawijaya Duren Tiga in 2020. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach with a total sampling technique of sampling. The number of respondents was 35 pregnant women. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The statistical test used the Chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between the role of nurse education and the level of knowledge on the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women at RSIA Brawijaya Duren Tiga with p-value 0.013 <0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the role of nurse education and the level of knowledge on the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women.
