Abstract
This study analyzes the influence of entrepreneurial capacity and dynamic adaptation capacity on the export performance of companies in Peru's textile and clothing sector. Using a positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach and a causal explanatory scope, dimensions such as innovation, risk-taking, proactivity, flexibility, and learning capacity are evaluated. The research is based on deductive logic based on Popper's falsificationism and the theory of pragmatism; it validates the hypotheses using a circuit method, analyzing how entrepreneurial and adaptive capabilities influence export performance. For this purpose, an instrument is applied to 249 companies in the textile and clothing sector in Peru in order to compare the results. To validate the model, a confirmatory factor analysis was carried out using structural equations (SEM) and the partial least squares (PLS) method. The results revealed that entrepreneurial capacity significantly influences export performance; however, dynamic adaptation capacity did not reach a significant level of influence within the model. It is concluded that the integration of entrepreneurial capabilities and dynamic adaptation capabilities is crucial to improving the export competitiveness of the Peruvian textile sector, providing practical implications for business management and the design of policies to promote internationalization.
