Abstract
The considerable increase in the capacity of artificial intelligence (AI) implies a high consumption of energy. The current environmental situation, characterized by the pressing degradation of ecosystems and the breakdown of balance, requires measures to be taken in various areas. AI cannot be left out, and although it is used for sustainability objectives, it must be viewed as sustainable in comprehensive terms. The proposal of a sustainable artificial intelligence is argued from a constructive ethical evaluation, where the inclusion and participation of interest groups represent two fundamental elements.
