Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the Adorno's work of 1927 on the concept of unconscious in Freud. The aim of the thesis was to reformulate psychoanalysis in terms of Transcendental Systematic Hans Cornelius. The study showed the inconsistency between the two theories but served to deepen the Freudian metapsychology. This study will be relevant for understanding the social determinants in the individual consciousness, which Freud founded on the socialized character of human nature. Adorno appropriation of Freudian theory maintain this thesis against the neo-Freudian revisionism and will be nuclear in the formulation of subsequent fundamental texts.
