Abstract

Bialba rotunda gen n., sp. n.; Poliocephala microabdomina gen. n., sp. n.; Amiota bicolorata sp. n.; Drosophila tozana sp. n.; Eostegana bulla sp.n.; and Leucophenga candida sp. n. are described from the Mt Tozer area of northern Queensland. The new genera appear to be most closely related to Mycodrosophila Oldenberg. A revised key to the Drosophilidae of the Iron Range area is presented. Copyright © 1989, Wiley Blackwell.
