Abstract

Thirty-one non-metrical cranial variants were investigated in 241 skulls of modern Japanese adults from the Kinki District. The incidences of the variants are analyzed with special references to their age differences, sex differences, inter-side and inter-variant correlations, and the availability of these variants for inter-population analysis is discussed.
