Abstract
ArcGIS software is used as the geographic information collection and analysis platform for transmission line route selection. Considering the influencing factors such as line length, landform, geology, ice area, transportation, construction, operation and local planning, the comprehensive quantitative cost value of the line is obtained by analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Combined with Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Python language, an automatic search model of transmission line path is developed. Selecting the local area with complex terrain in Guizhou, the algorithm simulation is carried out to verify the validity of the model. The results show that the model improves the search efficiency of transmission lines and provides a reference scheme for the planning of transmission lines in my country.
