Abstract

The work aims to establish the evidence of validity and reliability of self-report questionnaire for measuring informational proficiency in public primary education teachers in Mexico. The study was conducted with a sample of 203 teachers from fifth and sixth grade public primary in a municipality of the State of Sonora, Mexico. The results offer a model of sustainable empirically dimensional measurement consists of five items and setting appropriate rates (CMIN/DF = 1.31, CFI = .99; NFI = .97; RMSEA = .05; RMR = .02). It is concluded that the instrument serves as support for researchs and for making decisions about teacher training for the use of ICT integration programs.
