Abstract

This research aims to explain the efforts of the Lemo Nakai Tourism Awareness Group in supporting sustainable tourism which is studied through the theory of structural functionalism "AGIL" by Talcott Parson. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive case study research type. By using data collection techniques non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Informants from the village head, Lemo Nakai tourism awareness group, and the community including, Karang Taruna Desa Batu Raja. The technique in determining informants in this study is purposive sampling. The results showed that there were efforts made by increasing human resources, through training from the Tourism Office in the field of tour guide training which began with the provision of material which contained an introduction to tourist objects and attractions, practicing public speaking and tour guide techniques, training in managing tourism destinations in North Bengkulu Regency, as well as community training in planning for making homestays. Efforts to develop the potential of tourist objects and attractions are carried out through promotion from social media, such as: Instagram Facebook, Youtube, through tourism princesses and influencers Tiktok Bengkulu, as well as through students who have visited. Efforts to improve facilities and infrastructure have been carried out starting from making homestays, motorcycle taxis have been provided to tourist attractions. as well as provided road signs and warning banners.
