Grandes desafíos de la bioética. Escenarios de futuro

Abstract

Based on the many definitions of bioethics, the author outlines a series of potential future scenarios for a social and global bioethics that transcend the borders of developed countries. Based on these, he poses eight challenges for the future: the quality of life of the most vulnerable and the fair distribution of resources, the ethics of water management, the relationship between eco-ethics and bioethics, the rights of non-humans, the boundaries between human and ethics, gerontological ethics, transhumanism and liberal eugenics.Partiendo de las múltiples definiciones de bioética, el autor realiza una serie de esbozos de futuro de la bioética entendida como bioética social y global que trasciende las fronteras de los países desarrollados.Desde aquí plantea ocho desafíos de futuro: la calidad de vida de los más vulnerables y la distribución justa de los recursos, la ética de la gestión del agua, la relación entre ecoética y bioética, los derechos de los seres no humanos, las fronteras entre lo humano y lo ético, la ética gerontológica, el transhumanismo y la eugenesia liberal.
