Abstract
The literal meaning of autoscopy is 'looking at oneself'. Autoscopic phenomena can occur in both neurological and psychiatric disorders. Here, Dr Garry describes a case of autoscopy that occurred in the context of a depressive illness. © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
