Caipira: Cultura, resistência e enraizamento

Abstract

This article deals with the emergence of Brazilian country folk (caipira) music as an expression of the country's popular culture and how this music, from the moment it was recorded and broadcast on radio, helped in the process of re-rooting the country's migrants in the city of São Paulo.
