Abstract

In Mexico, with the reform to the Ley Federal del Trabajo of November 30, 2012, an effort was made to incorporate the terms harassment and sexual harassment, aiming to strengthen the principles of equity and non-discrimination by highlighting the existence of these types of behaviors that undermine the dignity of workers. However, the established definitions are neither clear nor comprehensive, creating challenges in identifying behaviors, especially those related to workplace harassment. Based on the above, this research aims to find a more complete definition of harassment and identify the elements that constitute acts of workplace harassment. Similarly, the actions available to a worker victimized by mobbing will be explored, enabling them to defend their right to decent work and achieve the cessation of behaviors that constitute harassment.
