Abstract

Reservoir transmissibility and storage values can be obtained from pressure pulses induced in one well and measured at a second well. Such pulse-test values are generally calculated from equations which assume the formation is homogeneous. This paper examines the effects of areally distributed heterogeneities on pulse-test values.
