Abstract
Troubling Trends in Health Disparities A National Center for Health Statistics report shows that U.S. life expectancy has decreased for 2 years. Age-adjusted mortality (1999–2016) shows that progress over the past decade in reducing disparities between blacks and whites has stalled and may be reversing.
