Abstract
For Goffman, everyday life shown on Facebook is similar to a stage where the individual makes a performance in front of others. Lipovetsky says that this hedonistic individualism manifests itself well in several forms in the behavior of the individual on Facebook. Beck insists that the individual becomes obsessed always to renew the identity. For Maffesoli, saturation of individuality led to the decline of individualism. Sociality is based on emotional reliance that can often be seen in the exchange of messages on Facebook.
