Abstract

A sandwich-structured nanocomposite of α-ZrP/CoTMPyP [5,10,15,20-Tetrakis(N-methylpyridinium-4-yl)porphyrinatocobalt( III)] was fabricated via electrostatic interaction between cobalt porphyrin and α-ZrP nanosheets. The obtained material was used as a modifier on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to test the electrocatalytic performance toward oxygen reduction, the results indicated that dioxygen was reduced to H2O2 via twoelectron transfer.
