Abstract

Quezada-Romegialli et al report Jenynsia multidentata species in central Chile, spotted in August 2008 in the town of Peñaflor. In March 2009, during a routine monitoring of the Puange stream, a high density of J. multidentata was observed in the confluence of this stream with the Maipo River. Multidentata Jenynsia corresponds to the 26 fish species introduced to the country.
