Abstract

The artifacts in the museum shows the world-view and philosophy of life held in a society. The study observed three main galleries at the Pahang Museum, Pekan namely Sultan Abdullah Museum Mosque, the Pahang Malay Sultanate Gallery - Daulat Tuanku and the Servant of Allah Gallery. The study will use critical analysis methods of museum artefacts associated with the historical background of the artifacts studied. As a result, this study found the uniqueness of Islamic history in Pahang compared to other locations. From it, we found that Pahang was the earliest area to accept Islam in Malaya. This is followed by the existence of various positive elements involving the culture of Islamic knowledge. All of them stem from the role played by the Pahang Malay-Islamic Sultanate.
