Rhetorical Resources for Teaching Responsible Communication of Science

Abstract

The article discusses the training program Teaching Responsible Communication of Science (TRCS) at the Iowa State University with rhetorical perspective for science communication. Topics discussed include rhetorician's contribution in the TRCS for understanding science communication ethics, questions raised by the Monarch in the Corn case for public response asked by professor of entomology John Losey, and importance of questionnaires from cases to help scientists know purpose of communication.
