Abstract

The analysis of the theoretical method error was conducted for on-machine measurements of roundness profiles based on the assessment of radial variations. The derived mathematical relationships were represented graphically. The absolute and relative theoretical method errors were determined for the assumed initial conditions. Planned further research activities are given. © 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
