Abstract

This Events & Sightings installment covers a range of recent events focusing on the history of computing. Mai Sugimoto recaps the 'Making the History of Computing Relevant' conference held at the Science Museum in South Kensington, London, in June 2013. David Walden provides an update on IEEE Computer Society History Committee activities, including the re-release of J.A.N. Lee's classic book Computer Pioneers. Dag Spicer also reviews activities and developments at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, over the last year. © 2013 IEEE.
