Abstract

Physicochem. properties of synthetic slags contg. CaO 30-60, Al2O3 20-50, and CaF2 0-40% melted in Mo crucibles in an atm. of Ar, were detd. at 1723-1923°K. Values of the activation energy of changes of the viscosity and elec. cond. were also calcd. CaF2 lowered the d., surface tension, and viscosity and increased the elec. cond. of the molten slags.
