Abstract
This study aims to analyse efforts to optimise the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in improving the quality of public services in the Regional Government of South Buton Regency. Along with the demands for effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency in governance, the implementation of SPBE is the main strategy to accelerate the transformation of public services. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of SPBE in South Buton Regency has had a positive impact on service acceleration, easy access to information, and increased community participation. However, there are still challenges related to technological infrastructure, digital literacy of the apparatus, and data integration between regional apparatus. This research recommends strengthening human resource capacity, improving information technology infrastructure, and formulating policies that support the sustainability of SPBE to achieve more optimal and competitive public services.
