Abstract

Acne tarda is a skin dermatosis that affects adults after the age of 25. It may be primary, recurrent or persistent, that is a continuation of juvenile acne. Stress, hormonal changes in the body and the environment play a crucial role in its etiopathogenesis. The aim of the study was to describe the factors influencing the occurrence and course of the acne tarda. Comprehensive knowledge is necessary for the effective conduct of cosmetology therapies, not only in the field of skin structure, but also in the processes occurring under the influence of various internal and external factors.
