Abstract

This paper describes a system to launch satellites into LEO that is currently being developed by Zero 2 Infinity (Z2I) with the aim of improving the flexibility and efficiency of satellite operations. The extra volume under the fairing of Bloostar, combined with its smoother ride, is giving satellite designers greater freedom to concentrate the mass of their satellites into useful systems. The inherent ease of re-use of Bloostar architecture is in line with the new Space Strategy for Europe1 being fostered by the European Commission (EC).
