Abstract

This study discusses the Stigmatization of the Tahlilan Tradition as an Existing Ritual: A Study of Goffmap's Erving Stigma Theory. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The results of the study show that differences of opinion for and against about the tahlilan ritual are normal and must be addressed wisely, so that these differences do not cause uproar that could threaten the integrity of the Muslim Ummah.
