Abstract

This research is aimed to study criminal profiling perpetrator of child sexual exploitation in Yogyakarta. The problem statement was applying psychological knowledge in criminal profiling perpetrator of child’s sexual exploitation and to assist finding the runaway perpetrator from law action. The subjects of this research are four girls victim of sexual exploitation. This research used a qualitative approach, which data was collected with varying methods such as: open observation, open interviews (subjects and informant) and grafist test. This was done to focus on multi-methods, multi-source and multi-contacts to satisfy the validity and reability. Results showed that the four perpetrators which are two of them individual perpetrator and two other are group perpetrator (syndicate) were identified had profil or special charachteristics (biologist/physiologist, psychologies and socio-cultural) and determinition (method and crime action,   modus operandi and signiture) in their crime action. The perpetrators were attached with asocial/antisocial behaviors and addict behaviors (alcohol consumption, drug and sex) which had high tendency to repeat their criminal actions. Therefore all child’s sexual perpetrators were not revealed, get caught and legal processes, there would be more child victims in the future. Keywords: Criminal Profiling, Perpetrator, Sexual
