Abstract

The article focuses on the use of conservation marketing for influencing behavior and attitude of people towards environmental protection. Topics discussed include the Society for Conservation Biology's (SCB) 27th International Congress of Conservation Biology held in France which focused on the use of marketing strategies for biodiversity conservation, the Conservation Marketing and Engagement Working Group (ConsMark) and the need to have environmentally friendly behaviors.
