Abstract
In the era of rapid digital development, art design education faces the challenge of shifting from traditional to innovative teaching methods. Conventional models suffer from rigid instructional approaches, limited teacher-student interaction, and inadequate practical resources, making it difficult to nurture creative design talents. Multimedia technology, with its strong interactivity and immersive experience, breaks through time and space constraints, innovates teaching methods, transforms traditional educational models, and enhances students’ design thinking and creativity. Empirical studies show that multimedia-enhanced teaching significantly improves students’ design skills and learning efficiency, giving them a competitive edge in their careers. However, challenges such as high equipment costs and uneven digital literacy among teachers still exist. Deep integration of multimedia technology into education is crucial for cultivating design talents suited to the demands of the digital industry.
