Abstract

The article focuses on the use of dance in health research. It talks about the interpretation of emotion and illness in dance in order to demonstrate the subjective experiences of mental health and other patient. The use of dance in psychotherapy for the development of social skills and increasing the sense of well-being in mental health patients is discussed. The article also discusses the analysis of social issues through dance and its use as a means to disseminate scientific ideas and values.
