Abstract

We consider the initial-boundary value problem in hyperbolic thermoelasticity with second sound in a three-dimensional exterior domain. The low frequency expansion of solutions to the corresponding stationary resolvent problem is given and the limit to the classical thermoelastic problem is investigated. ©2010 The Mathematical Society of Japan.
