Abstract

The magnetic-field induced optical transmission spectrum in an iron ferrofluids was measured using a spectrophotometer. As the Fe ferrofluid thickness and Fe concentration increase, the optical transmission decreases. The decreased in the transmission at 575 and 450 nm was interpreted by the Mie/Drude formalism.
