Abstract

The author has carried out studies concerning the effects of different conditions on the gamma-ray resistivity of E. coli. This report deals with the influence of the heating procedure applied to irradiated samples after irradiation, the gamma-ray resistivities of strains stocked for long periods, and the influences of the addition of heat sterilized cells of the same strain and chemicals on mediums. © 1958, Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry.
