Abstract
Post-harvest conservancy technique pretend a centric impact in mitigating nutritive loss affirming food security especially in agricultural economy like BD. Irrespective Of, being an agricultural nation, this country confronts cabalistic large amount of food losses attributable to unsystematic food manufacturing approaches moreover deficient operational infrastructure furthermore the shortage of consciousness among the cultivators. High pressure processing (HPP), modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), moreover biological obligatory enhancement are the latest technological methodologies in food preservation that have shown pledge in diminishing food losses. In contrast, insufficient policy framework, archaeological barriers, budgetary constraints are continue to hinder far-reaching adoption. This assessment emphasises on going status of post-harvest methodologies & manufacturing advancement ideas in Bangladesh moreover the hindrances and approximate result are discussed. Likewise it assesses forthcoming developmental paths as well as recommendation for amplifying food processing proficiency & deducting following harvest losses to ensure a long-term sustainable agricultural sector. This paper delineates the current status, prospects, and challenges of post-harvest technologies and food processing innovations in Bangladesh. It elucidates the efficacy of novel technologies in ensuring food security while addressing the impediments to their widespread adoption.
