Abstract
Project acceleration is an effort to complete a project to be faster than the predetermined schedule. The implementation of the MTSN 4 Sragen building project must be accelerated because the Sragen Regency Government prioritizes this project so that teaching activities at the school can be carried out immediately. The acceleration of the construction of the MTSN 4 Sragen building uses the TCTO (Time Cost Trade Off) method and is assisted by the Primavera 6.0 application to facilitate research. The research aims to analyze the total duration and cost of completing the project before and after acceleration with the scenario of additional labor and work time, and a more economical alternative to the scenario. The results of the analysis showed that the total completion time using the method of adding man-hours was 139 days (20 days faster than the existing time) causing an increase in costs as indicated by a total cost increase of Rp63,117,565.13. to Rp3,586,859,474.13., while the method of adding man-hours was 141 days (18 days faster than the existing time) and experienced a decrease in costs of Rp22,376,088.9. to Rp3,501,365,820.02. from the normal project cost of Rp3,523,741,909. with a normal project duration of 159 days. The more economical alternative to complete the project is to use the method of increasing the number of workers due to a decrease in total costs and faster than the normal project time.
